Hi, we are, Jennifer and Michelle- just a pair of nurses who met in AND survived school together, led the frontlines during covid while working all across the New Orleans, NorthShore, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We have found our way back alongside one another, but now working as remote triage nurses, who still carry the same compassion and vision of what healthcare means to us.Across these settings, we've cared for patients at their most vulnerable moments- and we've seen the gaps that exists once formal care ends.Healthcare is complex, overwhelming, and often difficult to navigate- especially once you leave the hospital or clinic. We've both seen firsthand how easily patients and families can feel unheard, confused, or left to manage care on their own with no real access to get answers in a timely manner. Often big healthcare companies are more focused on quantity and forget about the quality. Our passion is advocating for patients and families outside of traditional healthcare settings. We believe everyone deserves clear information, real support, and a nurse who helps them truly understand their health so they can confidently participate in their care decisions.
Healthcare is deeply personal to me- not just professionally, but personally. As a registered nurse, with background in ER, Hospice and remote triage. I've walked alongside patients during their most vulnerable moments in the ER and in their homes, worked in hospitals in big cities and rural communities, provided collaborative care to people all over the U.S. And as someone living with Crohn's disease, I understand what if feels like to manage symptoms, wait on lab results, adjust medications, and still have lingering questions and unable to get any REAL answers from a REAL person, at least not in a timely manner.I know how overwhelming it can be when providers move in and out the room faster than nurse can even take all your vital signs. That's where I come in.I translate complex medical information into clear, steady understanding- helping you recognize disease progression, manage exacerbations, understand medication actions and side effects, and truly grasp WHY certain labs, treatments or follow-ups are necessary. When you understand the "why", your confidence grows.I'm attentive to subtle safety concerns, especially in aging adults experiencing cognitive changes, working with family or caregivers to create a safety plan while protecting dignity and promoting independence. I'm also very resourceful in connecting families with local support when they need it most.As a wife and mother of four boys, living in a rural area myself, I understand the weight of caring for the people you love while trying to hold it all together at the same time. That prospective shapes the way I serve- with COMPASSION, CLARITY AND TRUE ADVOCACY.Licensed in all states except DC, HI, OR
My name is Michelle Aultman, and I am a Registered Nurse at Care Pair. Most of my nursing career has been spent in ICU and critical care, and over the past two years I’ve transitioned into telehealth, allowing me to support patients and families beyond the bedside.I know firsthand how overwhelming healthcare can feel—especially when you’re faced with difficult decisions, unfamiliar medical terms, or unanswered questions. My passion is helping you and your loved ones make sense of it all, so you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, supported, and confident in your care. That means helping you understand your diagnoses, medications, and next steps in a clear and approachable way, while also advocating for the care you deserve. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and reassured knowing that you have a medical professional in your corner—so you can focus on what truly matters: spending quality time with the people you love.Licensed in all states except AK, NV, and HI
